About Open Studios
Open Art Studios Upper Harbour is an annual weekend opportunity for artists resident in the Upper Harbour Local Board area to open their studios to the public.
The weekend will provide the opportunity for the community to meet local artists, see art in action, purchase local artwork and learn about the creative process. Visitors have the opportunity to visit the studios of some of Auckland’s most celebrated artists including sculptors, painters, jewellers, illustrators, ceramic artists and photographers.

The Upper Harbour Arts Area
The Event Map represents the entire Upper Harbour Local Board area. The Open Art Studios Upper Harbour event is currently focused on artists in the "upper" area of Upper Harbour, shown in dark green on the map. This includes Herald Island, Paremoremo, Greenhithe, Snapper Rock, Lucas Heights, Albany, Albany Heights, Fairview Heights, Oteha, Pinehill, Windsor Park, Wainoni, Cuthill and Rosedale.
As this is only our second event, we’re keeping it limited to the "upper" area for now. However, we’re open to expanding to the wider area in the future as interest from artists and visitors grows.
